Course Description:
The purpose of this course is to enable learners to develop skills and knowledge to improve their employability and work readiness skills and to assist them to re-engage with learning.
The focus of the course is based around orientation into the workforce and pathways into further vocational study. The course is not occupation specific however the student’s occupation interest will be discussed to prepare for succession planning in gaining employment or further study.

There are no pre-requisites for this course.
Entry Requirements:
There are no entry requirements for this course. However, students are required to undertake an LLN assessment as part of the enrolment process to ensure the student is at a satisfactory level to be able to undertake the training.
Duration:
This course duration is over 5 days. Delivery mode is either classroom or online virtual training. This course is subject to demand based on confirmed enrolments.
Units of Competency:
This course is based on 2 units of competency, comprising of 1 Core unit and 1 Elective unit.

Where applicants can show evidence of prior qualifications or experience in a related field, they may apply for RPL (Recognition of Learning).

Where applicants can show evidence of a current equivalent prior qualification or statement of Attainment, a Credit Transfer may be given for units of competency.
