What is the Job Ready Program?

The Job Ready Program is not a training course, it is a Job Placement Program where the goal is to assist job seekers into employment as quickly as possible.

The program assists job seekers to find work by improving employability skills followed by a period of intensive job placement focused activity and support. We market job seekers to employers and teach job seekers how to make things happen for themselves.

It runs for a total of 3 weeks, Monday to Friday full time with an additional 5 weeks of ongoing support on a part time basis. We are flexible to allow for those with caring responsibilities.

Results:

To date, on average: 46% of job seekers who have started the program had been unemployed for more than 1 year.

Over 60% of active job seekers secured employment within the 8-week duration of the program.
