Qualification Description:

This qualification reflects the role of a store person or warehouse worker in the Warehousing and Storage industry. Work may include day to day picking and processing orders, carrying out delivery processes, receiving and dispatching stock. At this level, work takes place under the direct supervision of others and supervision may be direct or indirect. Work may take place in a range of warehouse or storeroom settings.

The course is based on entry into a warehousing career and has been developed to enable learners to gain the general skills and knowledge in warehousing operations.

The course is intended to provide the student with support and encouragement whilst taking into account their individual needs, backgrounds, and past experience of each learner.


There are no pre-requisites for this course.

Entry Requirements:

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.  However, students are required to undertake an LLN assessment as part of the enrolment process to ensure the student is at a satisfactory level to be able to undertake the training.


This course duration is over 6 months. Delivery mode is classroom based. This course is subject to demand based on confirmed enrolments

Recognition of Prior Learning:

Where applicants can show evidence of prior qualifications or experience in a related field, they may apply for RPL (Recognition of Learning).

Credit Transfers:

Where applicants can show evidence of a current equivalent prior qualification or Statement of Attainment, a Credit Transfer may be given for units of competency.
